RIA452 process indicator with pump control unit

Field of Application

The RIA452 process measuring device monitors and displays analog measured values while also providing digital status inputs for pump monitoring. It can directly supply power to connected two-wire sensors, with an optional intrinsically safe configuration.

Equipped with up to eight freely programmable relays, the device can monitor measured values for limit violations. Additional relay functions include:

• Sensor or device fault detection
• Batch control
• Pump control (including alternating pump control)

The RIA452 can also be used as a preset counter and for flow measurement in open channels and measuring weirs.
