HERMetic UTImeter Gtex 2000 - Closed Type - Land Applications
What Is It?
Honeywell Tanksystem’s HERMetic UTImeter Gtex 2000 is a portable, gas-tight electronic liquid level gauge engineered for closed gauging of hydrocarbons and chemicals in storage tanks at terminals and refineries. Ideal for custody transfer and inventory control, it offers precise measurement while ensuring zero vapor release during operation when used with a HERMetic vapor control valve.
The Gtex 2000 performs four key measurements in one operation:
- Ullage level measurement
- Temperature verification
- Oil-water interface detection
- Innage/reference height detection (via manual sensing of dip datum plate)
Key Features :
- 1-inch sensing probe with 2-inch load for datum plate detection
- FFKM gasket and corrosive liquid-compatible tape connector
- Easy battery exchange and modular adaptors for 2-inch valve compatibility
- Integrated tape cleaning, window wiper, and tape protection
How Does It Work?
The HERMetic Gtex 2000’s factory-calibrated sensor requires no recalibration during its lifetime. Its RTD temperature probe digitally communicates accurate temperature data to the electronic module. Sensor and tape replacements do not impact calibration or performance.
Compliance and Approvals
- Regulations: IMO, ISO, API, IP, EC (EMC, MED, ATEX 100a)
- Approvals: USCG, MSA, GOST-R, ATEX, IECEx, Factory Mutual, NEPSI, and major classification societies
